Dodgers Go For 12-0 at Home

Excited about the possiblity of the Dodgers tying the major league record by going 12-0 at home, I decided to rub it in the face of fellow ChatterBalks writer Doug since he’s a bitter Giants fan. I think he got the last laugh:

Me: Did you see the Dodger dominate last night?

Doug: Well, I wouldn’t call winning against Doug Davis “dominating.”I mean, didn’t the Dodgers hit into a triple play?

Me: Whatever dude. Either way, the Dodgers have the NL record for best start at home and are going for the league next game.

Doug: Isn’t Jeff Weaver starting for the Dodgers tonight?

Me: Wait, what? When did he get into the rotation?

Doug: Like two days ago. He replaced McDonald.

Me: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU…

Hey, at least it’s Cinco de Mayo. Right? Time to go get shitfaced before the Dodgers lose.
